The Rescuers
So many memories. Extraordinary to revisit and still be taken with the character animation; how many times as kids rewinding so many individual scenes, from Medusa's make-up removal to Orville's expressions, to Evinrude trying to handle the leaf boat or escape bat-chompers, scampering of mice and other critters, hungry alligator destruction, elderly kitty cat comforts. One peculiar relic of memory, it was uncanny to watch (actually watch) the opening "journey of the bottle" montage and other musical interludes, seeing all the background art and paint texture in real time. As a tot the only visual I had of those "boring" song sequences is that of fast-forwarded VHS bursts. The songs are still terrible :D but I'm glad I finally stayed with it.
