Night 8 of 31 Nights of Halloween Seed of Chucky is such a drastic change from Bride of Chucky. The ending of the previous film really did leave a lot for the series to build off of, but never in my wildest dreams did I think that Seed of Chucky would be the idea that they went with. Just as the other films, it's a ridiculous premise, this time introducing Glen/Glenda, Chucky and Tiffany's child. Throughout the film, I just found myself wondering what I would have done, instead of what they decided to do here. It's still a funny film, but it's not as engaging and interesting as the other films in the series are. This is the series at its most ridiculous, but that doesn't mean that it's better than the rest of the films. It looks like this series is staring to lose it's luster on it's fifth film, which is sad because these films have been a lot of fun to get into.

I actually enjoyed this one Better than bride of chucky Billy Boyd really does a good job as Glen.Also We got a Christmas scene which was cool even if it was fake. I also enjoyed the meta Hollywood stuff that reminded me of scream 3. I don't mind the comedy shift in this because it doesn't try to act like it's not. Some scenes felt borderline parody tho lol. After watching two films with it I think stitched up chucky is my favorite design.

Don't make the same mistakes your mum and dad made... especially your dad.❞ ⊱ ─── . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁ ᯽ ݁ . ⊹ ₊ ݁. ─── ⊰ Seed of Chucky is worse than Bride of Chucky, but I could deal with it because it had Jennifer Tilly and her genderfluid kid who looked like a crazed scarecrow. Once again, the plot was very jumbled and all over the place, and to be honest the animatronics' movements were a bit stiff, for some reason, which made the slasher scenes feel even more fake. The actors and voice actors were great, and I liked the ending, but I don't think I'll be rewatching this any time soon.

Not a scare in sight, but there are plenty of laughs. The meta nature is fun, the puppets look good, and the gore is decent.
