Star Trek: Section 31

Oh boy. I didn't go into this movie wanting to hate it. Honestly. I have been a Star Trek Discovery defender (last season aside) for its entire airing. I like it when the Star Trek franchise tries something new. I don't need everything to be a TOS or TNG clone. That being said, fuck this. When I said I wanted something new, I didn't mean that I wanted some Suicide Squad/Mission Impossible mashup with something I don't care about being the entire plot of the movie with the most annoying band of characters I've seen in a Star Trek property.

so... unfortunately, I was right about not wanting to see it, even though I like Star Trek (I'm not a diehard fan, but I've seen two of the 1,500 shows that exist and enjoyed doing so), I don't know why, I didn't have a very good feeling about this one, and I was right, because I didn't like it. I couldn't say why I, maybe because it didn't seem like Star Trek, or because I feel like the story was resolved too “easily,” or whatever
