Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed

Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed

While it may not be as memorable as the first Scooby Doo film, Scooby Doo 2 is still a fun and wild film that still resonates with me today. Growing up, I loved watched the classic Scooby Doo cartoons, even naming my dog after him. Throughout the years, my fondness for the series has grown, even for the live action films that dont' necessarily capture the same feeling as the series, but still are fun to watch. Scooby Doo 2 has some cringey CGI moments, which is in due part to it's 2004 release, but it still holds some great memories, even creating new ones during this watch. I still love Scooby Doo and this film still is as fun as I remember it being from when I was little.

Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed

Night 17 of 31 Nights of Halloween I wasn’t expecting to watch this film at all this year, but my brother wanted to watch it, and I’m so glad that we did. I forgot just how much fun of a film this was! It’s campy, it’s wacky, and simply, is just a good time. There are so many memorable moments throughout the entire film, capturing the essence of what makes the Scooby Doo series so good. Absolutely need to see more representation for the Cotton Candy Glob, the underappreciated gem of this film.
