Diary entries forChildren of the Corn
Children of the Corn
The story is pretty interesting, and was a bit unbelievable, until you find out the monster who is really and living amongst the corn. Quite the twist. What I will say about this film is how well casted it is, with Isaac and Malachai both looking petrifying. Not sure why this film is so disliked, sure it’s no masterpiece, but it’s still a fun time. The horror is more thriller though, and there is no scares to be had. But overall it’s still an enjoyable film which is worth a watch.
Children of the Corn
Don't know what shook me more, that there's a post-credits scene for the first time in this franchise, or that before getting to that point I discovered additional voices were provided by Isabelle Fuhrman. fuck this franchise, purchase and watch and stream Orphan: First Kill today
Children of the Corn
Courtney Gains' pissed-off rants as Malachai is the only thing I remember from my time as an actual child seeing this on a random Saturday morning on Syfy in the early-2000s. At least it holds up between that, Linda Hamilton, and the actual well-done tension for the first 40ish minutes; time hasn't done that final third build to a random explosion favors though OUTLANDERRRRRRR
Children of the Corn
As it's been ages since the last viewing of Children of the Corn, and it was about time to watch this classic again. Surprisingly, this film has grown on me since my last viewing, possibly because of my love for 80's horror now. While it's not the best 80's horror film out there, it's still a film that you can have a blast watching. The film itself isn't terrifying, but there are moments that make the film very memorable, certain shots that will still be memorable years after watching. Children of the Corn is a fun horror film that really is best to watch with a group of friends, just to comment on how cheesy the film really is.
Children of the Corn
Me cansou no meio do filme.
Children of the Corn
Children of the Corn
É uma preciosidade. É bom, divertido, bem feito, boas atuações, enfim. Crianças desgraçados, principalmente o diabo desse Malachai e o cão daquela menina do final.
Children of the Corn
kinda hard to support the couple when they’re this annoying.
Children of the Corn
2020 really was a terrible time to be alive
Children of the Corn
With a title like Children of the Corn you really ain't asking for much except killer children antagonists and an eerie rural American town — and that's exactly what the film delivers. There's moments when this thing almost works like a slasher, despite it eventually churning into something else even scarier: a cult-like crew of children worshiping a God and headlined by a leader with a truly creepy as hell demeanor — we share the same name and I choose to ignore that. The opening is ruthless and the film never really hits that ultimate shock ever again — but, nothing is as exciting as the final ten minutes when Children of the Corn really gets a-moving towards a pretty cool finale. Kids with scythes aren't to be messed with.
