Went to see what Ez was watching and ended up sitting through the whole thing again. There was a moment there in my late teens where this was one of my favorites. Huh! Anyway, I still like it. Monologue: The Movie, subtext be damned, Stone doesn't deal with scalpel so much as baseball bat. And that hospital scene? Damn, still got some tears out of me. The financial factoids they bandy about in the flick are exponentially worse now. Yeah.

80/100 Oliver fucking Stone with another banger, well almost a banger. Michael Douglas just looks rich, he’s got that rich face on him and a voice to match. Charlie Sheen was not too bad in this either. His dad was a good fucking character. Overall, a great film that’s continuously engaging and interesting (Wall Street movies in general are), shows several aspects of Wall Street, detailed enough and just a quick watch altogether.
