Cujo
Going from the feline to the canine. This one's a bit of a scramble; there's one movie here about a domestic drama, another about insane doggone it rabies horror. Camera spends a great deal of time on each... an over-adaptation, perhaps? Dee Wallace as the glue holding it all together, that's for sure

Night 26 of 31 Nights of Halloween Cujo This film is truly terrifying. The realism behind it is scary, since it's so real. Stephen King, although he can't remember doing so, created a fantastic novel, that was bound to be adapted. This adaption was alright. It kept in the scares, but I just felt that there was more needed. It was good, but there was a need for more. I felt myself growing a little bored during the scenes without the dog, since the dog was the most interesting part of the film. Nonetheless, Cujo is a great horror movie and a decent Stephen King adaption.

Quero ler o livro.

the book is so much sadder as you have the dogs POV and realize he was in such pain and didn’t understand why i  feel really bad for cujo (self explanatory) but also for the mom and boy they were really traumatized. especially the boy. the movie is great, tense, and kinda sad cos of how realistic it is

#8 of 31 Days of Madness: October 2018 (https://boxd.it/25v8a) There isn't a lot going on in this Stephen King adaptation, a tale about a dog turned rabid and incredibly vicious thanks to the bite of a bat. And by a not a lot going on, I mean that the film doesn't actually get interesting, or necessary for that matter, until the third act, which is when its dog finally met up with the protagonists. It's a long wait but thankfully it is a little thrilling — a mother and son trapped in an out of gas car as Cujo waits to make his move from outside. Sure, it's dragged out, but seeing this bloody, disgusting looking dog linger like a predator watching its prey is pretty terrifying and one of the things that the film actually knocks out of the park. Even so, I was bored for the majority thanks to its slow pace that didn't kick off until a fair bit down the track. 2.6/5
