Diary entries forRun Lola Run
Run Lola Run
With all the recent flurry of high-energy cinema here, re-watching this one just felt right. A cozy kind of pulse-pounding, if you plz
Run Lola Run
This movie is so camp. The editing is a whirlwind - very early 2000s. Very Kim Possible. The screaming blowing out glass windows was certainly a choice. The 2/5 is because I just can’t get over Lola doing all this and risking her life and freedom for a man who blamed everything on her to begin with. Erm, no thank you.
Run Lola Run
fun premise and very fast-paced energetic movie. the techno soundtrack really helps add to that
Run Lola Run
It’s crazy to me that this isn’tTykwer’s directorial debut. RUN LOLA RUN feels like a director’s first film in the way it just goesfor itand throws everything at the wall. Hugely stylized, frenetic, experimental, deeply touching, brilliant in every sense of the word. It’s a travesty that both Tykwer and star Franka Potente didn’t become two of the biggest names in film. I won’t be waiting 15+ years to rewatch this one again.
Run Lola Run
The breeziest 80 minutes of film ever put on celluloid. A pulsating soundtrack, an unpredictable plot, and fast and stylized editing - everything I love in one movie.
Run Lola Run
perfect length considering the pacing. the techno infused soundtrack fucking slaps
