Damn you, you little bastard 💀 One of the most messed-up things I’ve ever seen. It’s crazy how a single lie can ruin an innocent person’s life, and they did an amazing job showing that, especially with Mads Mikkelsen’s stellar performance.

Loved everything about this. What this film does so well is the slow build up, luring you in and keeping you guessing. It’s not a mystery by any means, but at times it truly does feel like one. Grethe handles the situation disgustingly, by apart from her I don’t blame anyone for there actions. The allegations would cause anyone to act the same. The end is also telling, some people never forget, and clearly some still see Lucas as guilty. This films makes you feel several emotions throughout, and makes you realise how quickly a mans life can be ruined. It’s a difficult situation, with almost no possible outcome which is good. At the same time there is nobody to blame, further making the audience question their own morals and beliefs. I’d recommend this film to everyone as it’s truly a masterpiece.

The Hunt is probably one of the saddest films I've ever seen. Watching Lucas's brutal ostracization from society was truly harrowing. His entire life was destroyed by just one small lie. The film beautifully illustrates how gullible and broken today's society is. Overall, The Hunt is a masterpiece that I would rate 4.7/5⭐.
