What We Hide
These children who should be playing and enjoying life with their families, are forced to be grow up and lying to keep their families together, I will never be like them. It's a good movie but it's not moving my little hearts it feel kinda generic, plain, and rushed. Listen, McKenna Grace and Jojo Regina acting is so good in here, can't wait to see their win an awards for this and be big!

75/100 Check out my 2025 ranked - https://boxd.it/Fn1G4 Oh man that did break my heart a little. It’s a very straightforward film, no special camerawork or even expansive dialogue but it gets you to relate to their situation and that is extremely tough. I can’t imagine kids being in such a place where they have to do something so drastic and suppress their emotions and put on an act after such a tragic event just because they don’t want to get separated and forgive me but you gotta blame the system for that. Yes foster parents should be appreciated for taking on kids that have no one left, for giving them a family, a life really but you cannot come and separate two siblings from each other, that’s downright cruel, monstrous even. It’s extremely selfish. McKenna Grace the star you are, she’s got range and I only see her growing into multiple genres over the next decade, she’s extremely talented and we don’t need this film to know that but this film is an example where she holds her own, a solid lead and she keeps you captivated even if the general script does not. And Jojo Regina playing her younger sister did really well too, I really felt for her, she was cute and seeing her reaction and innocence was the hope that McKenna was clinging onto for the entire film. In many ways, it is a beautiful film that doesn’t aim too high but does a good job with what they have at hand.

Mckenna Grace March (https://boxd.it/TdwWe) That was great. I saw the reviews for this and was wondering why it never got that much recognition. I feel like my rating might be a little too high but I also feel like this deserves it. This film was a lot better than I was expecting. Instead of a basic drama this actually was in depth and very emotional. The story I first thought would be underwhelming based on the synopsis. However I was completely dumbfounded this was very good. It was a dark and sad. It made me think a lot more about people. It was incredibly moving and touching. This was arguably the best Mckenna Grace performance I've seen. She is phenomenal. Also she made a song for this as well? Like she's so talented. Unlike with her previous films I've seen, she doesn't carry the whole film alone this time though. Jojo Regina was amazing especially for a child actress. I found the dynamic between the sisters very emotional, in depth and enjoyable. I honestly could just watch this film if it was only the two of them lol. The rest of the cast was good as well. This also had great tension. It was not just drama but also a good psychological thriller as well. The combination was great. I honestly watching this could feel the struggle. This was one of the first films where I've actually thought more in depth while watching instead of after. I found this way more emotional than I was expecting it to be. It was honestly a very lovely and emotional experience. Both sad and happy. It did make me go through the emotions. This really makes you feel for the characters. Mckenna Grace Oscar when? Overall this was a very enjoyable, emotional, in depth experience that honestly leaves me with more to say than I can type. This definitely deserves more recognition and attention. I don't know if my rating is too high but ill keep it there.
