Made me frightened of mirrors and reflections. Couldn’t look into puddles without thinking I’d fall into it to the other side. Same with public pools. Sharp blocking. Neat tricks. Takes a bit of time for it to take hold of all the funhouse galore, but once you’re settled, it never stops. Teases you. Remains playful and frightening. Trust obscured. Seeing is, unfortunately, believing.
