esse filme é genial do começo ao fim. ele te deixa preso sem conseguir tirar a tua atenção, e quando vc finalmente entende oq ta acontecendo (o que foi muito dificil pra mim kk) a sua cabeça explode kk!! fazia tempos que um filme n me deixava tão angustiado/com medo DE VERDADE. me faz pensar na genialidade de quem teve a ideia de fazer um filme tão inacreditavel como esse, merece todo o hype que tem.

David Lynch is known for his confusing narratives and plots, with Mulholland Drive being no different. My favorite series of all time, Twin Peaks, has many similarities to this, with the strange scenes and complexity of the characters. The acting in this is superb, with Watts giving a stunning performance. The film for me is a bit too confusing though, I know its what Lynch is known for but in this I just couldn't keep up with all which was going on. There were definitely more positives than negatives though, and I did really enjoy this picture, I Just couldn't get lost in it like i can in a film i truly love and understand.

I know that my teacher will freak out when he sees that I gave his favorite movie a 7/10 so I would like to say two things. 1. A 7/10 means, to me, that it is a good movie. I, for the most part, really enjoyed watching the film. Mulholland Drive is a very interesting experience. 2. I gave it a 7/10 because I don’t feel like I understand the movie enough to give it anything higher. I feel like on a rewatch, it will be getting a much higher score. And trust me, I will rewatch it one day.

Adoro como Lynch pega a narrativa do Noir e subverte ele transformando em uma história de suspense que flerta o tempo todo com a indústria. O sonho do cinema, o sonho de conquistar Hollywood, de ser uma estrela e através de seus símbolos, signos e narrativa constrói a história de Betty e Rita. Adoro o mistério, a forma como aos poucos a investigação leva a uma conclusão que se auto explica, mas ainda mantém portas pra uma interpretação mais ampla. A dualidade dos bastidores, a persona do ator e do personagem. Apesar do mistérios do filme começar se questionando quem é Rita, aos poucos ele é mais quem é Betty e onde Rita se encaixa nessa situação toda. Mulholland Drive é uma rua tão onírica quanto o filme que leva seu nome, um filme que vai do suspense investigativo pra uma história de terror e tragédia de forma muito satisfatória e instigante. Tal qual um sonho que vira um pesadelo. Lindo, inspirado e terrivelmente triste.
