I thought I would enjoy this movie because of the teasers and trailers, but I was quite disappointed with how it turned out. Some of the humorous elements were funny, but the rest gave me second-hand embarrassment. Additionally, the pacing was so bad that I wanted to give it a zero, but that's not possible, so I give it a one. I tried watching it, but as I kept watching, I got more and more bored with it. The movie had the typical popular new boy with the loser girl falling for him, and the loser guy who was always there in the beginning. It was a typical storyline for a rom-com, but then came the plot twist. She ends up with the loser guy, but at what cost? Did it show that she had any feelings for him? Nope. Then why did she end up with him? Because they had similar interests. What? I love a friends-to-lovers plot, but did they have any chemistry? No! It always felt one-sided until the point where she was with the popular guy, and she felt lonely. I think she only went back to Archie because she was lonely and wanted her friend back. Because how did she do a full 180 to go back to her best friend that she never liked? It doesn't make sense! But she does fall in love quickly, so... Anyway, it's a no for me! But I love the actors though!
