"what the fuck are you talking about.?" there are a total of 4 fics on AO3 centered around the evil bong movie franchise and ONLY ONE of them depicts Alistair Larnell Brett and Bachman as a freaky polycule under the freaky influence of an Alternate Universe freaky bong, to quote the anonymous visionary themselves: "What if instead of Evil Bong it was Freaky Bong and it made you freaky and gay", and it just makes me think that there is really an untapped market there in terms of like creative writing and queer expression and stuff.... to get to my thoughts on the movie proper; evil bong was surprisingly well made considering the subject matter. like as far as low budget slashers; that include multiple women with their tits out and a fixation on marijuana, goes; it had one decently well written female character (2 if you count the bong), which is more than most of it's contemporary's can say. the campiness of the kills in the evil bong dimension almost (ALMOST) cancels out the objectifying nature of the rest of it (like hello man eating tits are such a serve). plus it had some good gags and the dialogue had fun moments where the nerdiness blended with the stoner vocab to humorous effect :insert alistair emoji here: so yeah wish it was more homo but that is what "freaky bong" on AO3 is for (to be fair though i think this about every aggressively straight movie from the 2000s) and honestly the concept of an evil bong is so camp and that one male strippers thong was def rainbow so i think evil bong 2006 comes out of this review like karmicly neutral(?)
